*Groan* no more...please...

Went to Black Stump. AWESOME!!!! Unlike last year, I managed to find some bands I like - Antiskeptic, Compliments of Gus, Lukas, Scat (jazz really isn't my thing but they were pretty cool, actually) and a few others that were okay. Got into the mosh pit for Antiskeptic, at the front; tons of fun, but I couldn't breathe properly until the next morning due to the ton of dirt I breathed in. Evil stuff.

No rain, but this year B.S did get a bit windy. And although it wasn't a problem most of the time, it did blow over a table that had been leaning against some chairs. Problem? It blew it right down the side of my knee/calf as I was walking past. Result? Much pain, and not being able to walk for the next four days. Bonus? Awesome yellow, green, blue, and purple bruise!

After the 4 days, when I could walk again, we went to Sydney for grandparents 50th anniversy. Good fun. Came back home, had to get settled back into school. Worked all weekend. More school, then I worked on Saturday. Found out some stuff about a really good mate of mine that now has added her to my 'worried' list, and got into a huge fight with one of the girls that thankfully was resolved. Sunday. Left church, completly stacked it, and wound up with really badly bruised knee and arm that luckily turned out to be a muscle strain, not a break. So. I spent a couple of days in a sling, but now, thankfully, I can now move my arm again, so I will be working on Sunday. My knees pretty bad, though. I can walk and everything, just movement frequently results in these really weird muscle spasms that are a mixture of pain and just... weirdness.

In between all of that I've started choir practice for Christmas carols, currently in the middle of Global Leadership Summit (really challenging, actually!) and next weekend I'm getting my L's. (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

So yeah, been just a little bit busy recently. And had really bad luck with the whole two injuries in like two weeks thing. *sigh*

On the plus, got feedback from mate K about Gamenian - she loved it! Which is a huge relief, cuz I tend to be extremly insecure about it. On another plus: FINALLY got past writers block, and Gamenian is now slowly moving into part two. Score.

Just a depressed little emo kid....

What the hell does emo mean, anyway? I know its short for emotional, (although thats still an 'apparently') but we're all emotional at some point int time. So why the hell do people still call me emo?

Generally, emos are:

1. Dressed in all black with that weird, (no offense to all you emo dorks) emo haircuts. (long, greasy, black, etc.)

I wear colors. Nuff said.

2. Listen to emo music.

WHAT THE HELL IS EMO MUSIC???? People are always all 'oh, thats emo music' then someone else is like, 'No, thats just heavy metal, THATS emo music.' before ANOTHER person is all 'no, thats pop. THATS emo music...' etc. If we where to go with the whole emo=emotional thing, then emo music=emotional music. I know thats a bit of a duh, but think about it. How many songs do you know that aren't about love, hate, revenge, yearning, lust, etc? Meaning - EMOTIONS!!!!!!

Now, I've been told Linkin' Park is emo, although I love that band to bits and will forever protest their not emo as all emos should be shot. I've also been told most of the music I listen to is emo. So.

Those really are the main two emo things. I'll admit to the emo music, but I look nothing like an emo, and I still know the meaning of the word smile. SO WHY AM I BEING CALLED ONE?!

Yes, I know, I'm probably overreacting, but add the 'your an emo' thing to yesterdays 'i'm worried about you' and you wind up with annoyed. My boss, as work yesterday, was all 'I'm worried about you. Are you okay?'
So I'm just going. 'Um. Yeah?' while she's asking me if everything okay at home, and if I have a jackass boyfriend she needs to slap. Like ha. As if I'll ever have a boyfriend.

But seriously. This isn't the first time. People just seem to think I'm horribly depressed. Or at least all the people at work. But seriously. I'm at WORK. Why the hell would I smile 24/7? Especially seeing as I think people who smile 24/7 are slightly psychotic. Not to mention the whole my job is currently quite stressful, especially when my bosses are giving me weird 'are you OK?' talks.

Oh yeah, and straight after the 'are you ok?' talk I got a whole 'the place was a mess last weekend' talk. Apparently when my boss came in the morning she spent an hour cleaning. An HOUR. She mentioned things like the fridges, and the coffee machine - things WE did. And seeing as I'm in charge, thats a 'things we did that I should've picked up on' we.

Yeah. I'm totally OK after having a huge shitload of stress dumped on my head.

Really.

21 Jump Street

Okay, okay, so my sisters got sick of me raving about 21 Jump Street, so I thought I'd rave about it online instead. Bad 80s clothes. Bad 80s music. Bad 80s haircuts. It really is a bad 80s show - yet it works so well! For two reasons.

1. Youth. The show is about cops going undercover in high schools - murders, drugs, arsonists, car stealing - man, the things us teens get up to! But come on. Theres just something awesome about watching cops parade around as teens. Especially if one of those cops is a oh so hot and oh so young Johnny Depp. Which brings us to:

2. Dennis Booker. Soo... hot... WHY DID THEY ONLY HAVE HIM FOR ONE SEASON?!?! The looks, the attitude, and ok, the body... I know I'm shallow, but never the less, drool. Total. Utter. Drool.

3.Johnny Depp. Seriously. Okay, he's a pretty boy/baby face - yes, I will admit that. But hes a damn fine pretty/baby face!!!!! Not to mention, in some of those episodes when he's playing the hard ass - yeah. So. Hot.

But enough about 21 Jump Street. Life is... life. School pretty much sucks (I hate my reading subjects, social studies etc, and thats all I have to do at that moment. Yeah, I've failed my past two tests or whatever) work is actually okay at the moment (surprise, surprise) and past that, doing fine.

I'll be doing much better when I own my Nissan Skyline. I was planning on buying it for my first car, but then I figured I'd buy a bomb, trash it while on my Ps, and then when I'm a excellent, fully licensed driver, spend the dough needed to get the Skyline. Might take a while, but hey. Its one beautiful car.

"Its my party, and I'll die if I want to..."

Well, another birthday survived, and I'm writing this as a seventeen-years-and-two-days old chick. This yeah I did get awesome prezzies though. A new PS2 game, 6 books (MWHAHAHA)a wallet, jewelry, cute photo frame, food, money, and a really pretty jewelry box. Ah. Everything a girl needs. And I know its really shallow to just write about presents, but hey. Shallow or not, we all know its true - presents rock!!!

On another note, the parentals want me to find an outdoor hobby - I.E something that doesn't involve computers. Which sucks, because except for God, family, and friends, writing is my life. And for me, writing involves computers because I'm wwaaaayyyy quicker at typing then writing by hand. So writing, plus wanting to go into IT when I finished school means parents are convinced I'm going to turn into some kind of pale, Darth-Vadar-breathing nerd. So getting a hobby is the cure, apparently.

Mum wants me to get back into sewing. So not going to happen - don't get me wrong, I do still do the occasional pillow or whatever, mainly because my tastes in decorations aren't pink, fluffy, or sparkly. *shudder*

Dad wants me to get back into horse riding. Not the most horrible prospect, because I don't mind horse riding. Its just you don't simply go down and ride a horse. You go down, catch the horse, groom the horse, saddle the horse, ride the horse, take off saddle etc, feed horse, return horse to paddock. And you do that every weekend, and if you're not riding the horse that weekend, you lunge it. (exercise on rope) Plus theres trips to feed it during winter.
Okay, so it most likely sounds like I'm being lazy by not wanting to ride just because of the baggage. And maybe I am. But when you're already not very into horses, all that just makes it worse. I mean, both my dad and my sister (especially sister) are very much into horses and THEY get sick of it.

So. That leaves me. What do I want for a hobby? Well, I'm not the sports type for a starter. I don't think I've ever played a soccer game where I haven't got kicked in the head by the ball, and me and coordination aren't on speaking terms. Don't get me wrong, I'm not excessively bad at sports - I'm just not that good, or even decent. And when you're as competitive as I am? So not fun. I can't even go BOWLING without obsessing over whether I win or not. I would like to point out that I'm still a good loser - no tantrums, promise - and no, I don't cheat. I just don't like losing. Not that most people do, but I mean I REALLY don't like losing. (I've tried to ignore it, but I can't.)

So I need to find a non-sport hobby. Cars. I love cars. I love looking at cars (Soooo shallow, lol XD) and I love riding in cars. Especially fast cars, or just going fast in slow cars. But the stuff under the hood? Namely the engine and all its parts? Not so much love happening there. I know NOS, and I know turbo. I don't know how they work, I just know that they do work and it goes faster. If I did know how everything worked I could love them - but the chances of me learning are extremly small cuz I've got no one to teach me. So lets leave cars out of hobby picks for now, shall we?

Except I'm out of ideas.

Unless I want to take up kite-flying, that is.

Or walking.

Gah. I hate hobbys.

Yep... I'm a slacker...

So yeah, I've been slacking off and haven't added in ages - whoops. >.> But I have lots to say now, so WOOT!

Number 1. Had AWESOME fun at a poker night recently. Ahhh... poker... we weren't playing for real money or anything, but its still quite satisfying when you have a huge pile of chips in front of your, and quite depressing when you lose half of them in one round. I guess its like monopoly - you have to hand the 'money' back, but its still all "MINE!!!!!!!"

2. Got stabbed in the lip with a pen. Me and my mate, C, where chucking pens at each other. She just managed to throw hers at me so hard it went into my lip. And I personally think two bigs holes suggest that it went all the way through, but my 'rents think it just went in one side and I accidentally bit down on the other side or something weird like that. Seeing as the pen was sticking into my lip or anything, makes sense.

Actually, I just thought it had hit me and was going 'Why the hell does this hurt so much?!' while trying not to cry. Then I figured it'd cut me when I got blood everywhere. In the end I had to go to the bathrooms to clean up said blood, and while I was cleaning the blood off my teeth I noticed two round, identical holes that strongly suggested the pen had gone through my lip. The others agreed, too.

It was actually really funny - me and C where in hysterics (laughing!) when I got back. She was laughing cuz she felt so guilty (you know how you feel really guilty so you just start laughing in a 'oh my gosh I can't believe I did that!' way? yeah, thats what she was doing.) and I was just laughing cuz after the pain had died I found it pretty funny. Plus I was also going 'I can't believe you did that!' Got an awesome egg/bruise thingy on my lip.

3. I'm going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3 on Friday!!!! I soooo can't wait, it'll be sooooo awesome. YAY PIRATES!!!!!

4. Me, C, and sister B are - holy crap! I just realized we spell out the beginning of the abc!!! A, B, and C!!!! Lol. Anyway, we're doing a ninety-thirties gangster night. Its gonnna be so awesome! Gangster....

The End.

Purpleizing, cleaning, working, and Scrubs

Pretty much summarizes what I've been up to. Now, along with my hair, my room is now purple. Weird considering I don't actually like purple... But hey, I share a room with my younger sister, and it was the only we could agree on. That our parents like as well, seeing as they weren't so thrilled with the mint-green and black idea. Which would have looked awesome, but hey.

Still, at least its a bright purple and not the pale lavender one mum wanted. At least thats a bit of a win. But no, I don't mind it that much - actually, I like it due to its said brightness. I'll just have to add lots of actually cool things to the room. And then it'll look really good.

We also changed all the stuff in our room around, as well as chucked out all the junk (believe me, it was a lot of junk...) so I've spent the last couple of days cleaning. And when I'm not cleaning I'm working. And when I'm not doing either of those things (or school!) I'm watching Scrubs cause a friend of ours gave us the series on DVD. Yay Scrubs!

purple or red?!

I dyed my hair today, and was wondering if it was going to be more purple or red, but its looking pretty purple. (Although my sister gave me a heart attack by proclaiming it pink. I was very much "NOOOOOO!!!") It was supposed to be purple, but previous attempts at purple through streaking my hair failed, with the streaks always turning out red. So far, its purple though. Although it has yet to finish drying, so *shrugs*

Not sure if I like it yet. Too early to tell. Find out later, I guess, when my hairs dried and all.

HAPPY EASTER!!!! Mmm... chocolate...

I was watching Star Wars V for like, the millionth time, and you know what? The graphics really do suck. Because its Star Wars and all, that minor fact normally gets overlooked, but seriously. Really bad graphics aren't cool. And yes, I know I'll probably get shot for being blasphemous against Star Wars by some little Star Wars nerd. The type that lives with his mother at thirty, has over one Star Wars collectible, has the box-set, and most likely has the whole underwear/bedsheets/pillows/t-shirt/hat all Star Wars too. Now THATS scary.
